Before arrival
Our reception is available from Monday to Friday from 6.30 am to 11.00 pm and at weekends from 7.30 am to 10.30 pm.

Rooms are ready for occupancy from 2 pm at the latest.
Arrival is possible until 11 pm.
Reception is not staffed during the night.

Yes, our hotel offers both outdoor parking spaces and parking spaces in the underground car park.
We also have space for larger vans, small lorries and buses at the hotel.
Price CHF 8.- per night | If you book your room directly with the hotel, the car park is included
Our lockable bicycle room is at your disposal free of charge.
Our hotel is located right next to Münchwilen railway station. You can reach us after a 2-minute walk.

Either by renting a car via the A1 motorway (direction St. Gallen) approx. 40 minutes or by train via Wil or Frauenfeld to Münchwilen.

Small dogs are welcome in the standard rooms at Hotel Münchwilen, subject to prior reservation. Please note that your dog may not be left unattended in the room and that dogs are not allowed in public areas (e.g. breakfast). Please contact us before your arrival.

We offer free WiFi in the entire hotel.
Our hotel is a non-smoking hotel. All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in the outdoor areas. We also ask you not to smoke by the window.

We serve our breakfast buffet as follows:
Monday 7.00 to 9.00 am
Tuesday - Friday from 6.30 - 9.00 am
Weekends and public holidays from 7.30 - 10.30 am
If you leave before our breakfast times, we will be happy to prepare a breakfast pack for you. The same applies if you wish to have breakfast later. Pre-booking is required.
If breakfast is not included in your package, you are welcome to book it on arrival. Price per person CHF 25.-.
We love breakfast - our breakfast buffet, which our team prepares for you with dedication, is correspondingly extensive, fresh and varied. Our breakfast buffet includes: excellent coffee and coffee specialities, tea, various breads and baked goods, Bircher muesli, muesli, nuts, dried fruit, fruit salad, various types of cheese and yoghurt, numerous cold meats, fresh fruit, juices, jams, spreads, rösti, scrambled eggs and bacon.
Our rooms have a chargeable minibar with a small selection of soft drinks, beer and wine. Other drinks can be purchased at the hotel bar.
Our hotel does not have a restaurant. Our partner restaurant Salta In Bocca (2 minutes walk) spoils you with the finest Italian specialities and pizzas from Thursday to Tuesday.

Yes, the hotel bar is located right next to reception. Spend a cosy evening in the hotel.
All rooms are NON-SMOKING ROOMS. We would like to point out that smoking is not permitted in the rooms, in the corridors or by the open window. Please note that smoking in the room will result in additional costs for cleaning, etc.
We would also like to point out that smoking in the room can trigger a fire alarm - all costs for the deployment of the local fire brigade (currently CHF 1,800 per deployment) will be charged directly to the person responsible.
Our tip: enjoy your smoke in the outdoor areas in front of and behind the hotel building. Ashtrays are available there.

We accept all major credit and debit cards. Cash payment in CHF and EUR is also possible. We recommend that you pay for your stay the evening before departure.
You can leave your laundry at reception from 7.00 am to 9.00 am and it will be returned to you on the same day. You will find the laundry bag and price list in the wardrobe. The express ironing service is available within 1 hour during the day. We are happy to do dry-cleaning for you externaly the house (weekends excluded).
Check-out and departure
Reception is open Mon-Fri from 6.30 am and at weekends from 7.30 am. The room is available until 10.30 am on the day of departure (groups until 10.00 am).
We recommend you to pay for your stay the evening before.
Of course, we will take care of your luggage after you have checked out.
Please contact us immediately after your departure if you have forgotten something in your room. We will do our utmost to return the forgotten item to you. Unfortunately, we will have to charge you for the costs of packaging and transport.
