A small device with a big impact

Reducing the use of chemicals in room cleaning is another goal of our sustainability efforts at the BELVEDERE HOTEL FAMILY. This summer, we therefore launched a pilot project at the Badehotel Belvair and purchased two micro dry steam cleaners. The appliances, which only work with water without detergents, clean much more efficiently and hygienically. They also protect the environment. These appliances are also being used more and more in other sectors such as grocery shops and the healthcare sector.

Together with our housekeeping team, we are testing the devices in practice and have so far received nothing but enthusiastic feedback from the housekeeping team. Working with the micro dry steam cleaner is more thorough, faster and gentler. In addition, we will have around 30% less chemical impact on the environment and protect the health of our employees, not to mention the savings we can make on chemical cleaning agents. Following the successful pilot phase in Belvair, we will equip GuardaVal with these devices in the next stage and then Belvedere.
